Fragrance

A fragrance, also known as an odourant, aroma, or flavour is a chemical compound that has a smell, taste or scent.

These compounds can generally be found in food, spices, perfumes, liquids and oils. For example, in wines, compounds are formed as by-products of the fermentation process. Many of these compounds play a significant role in the production of flavours to increase the appeal of nutraceutical products, used for novelty purposes or to take an experience to another level.

Due to the vast applications of this industry, we are constantly being challenged to develop and produce innovative pellet solutions. Through our years of expertise, here at spheratrix we have been able to design and manufacture a huge variety of products for our customers.  These products have included;

Silica gel pellets (available in a variety of scents)

A form of silicon dioxide made synthetically from sodium silicate. Silica gel is most commonly encountered in everyday life as a pelleted desiccant, cat litter or food additive. Its high surface area allows it to absorb water readily, making it an excellent desiccant. The silica gel removes moisture by adsorption onto the surface of its numerous pores.

Silica gel has a high affinity for water. Most silica gel can absorb up to 40% of its weight in water, and it can be easily recharged with heat. Mini dehumidifiers can use silica gel to control moisture in many different areas. From individual rooms in your home, gun safes, marine, and RV applications, the silica gel pellets absorb environmental moisture until they are at capacity.

Liquid filled pellets (available in a variety of scents)

Designed to neutralise odours and refresh spaces consistently over a delayed predetermined period, these pellets allow regular diffusion of aroma and are ideal for use in wardrobes, bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchens.

We can partner with you to develop and produce pellets based on your individual requirements. We have collaborated with many industries leading worldwide entities and institutions over the years and have the required knowledge to know what is and what is not possible.
